DNA characterisation

This category includes all new methods, or highly significant improvement thereof, for the biochemical and physical characterization of DNA. This includes DNA purification from various sources (e.g. ancient DNA, DNA from widely used hosts), DNA quantification, DNA analysis (by enzymatic, gel electrophoresis, mass-spectrometry, hybridization, assay) as well as determination of DNA sequences.
