Biotechnology Laboratories, Central Research Division, Takeda Chemical Industries, Ltd Osaka 532 *Department of Genetics, Osaka University Medical School Osaka 532, Japan
Received March 8, 1983. Accepted April 19, 1983.
Using the cDNA of human 1D6DC; chain, three expression plasmids that code directly the constant portion of the 1D6DC; chain (C1D6DC;l-C 1D6DC;4, C 1D6DC;2-C 1D6DC;C4 and C 1D6DC;3-C 1D6DC;4 domains) were constructed. These 1D6DC; chain peptides were synthesized in E. coli under the control of the trp promoter-operator. The bacterially produced peptides have the antigenicity of human 1D6DC; chain and gave the molecular weights equal to the values calculated from the amino acid sequence of the constructed plasmids
