DNA sequence of the rat ß actin gene: A correction

We want to report a correction in the reading of 4 nucleotides in the sequence of the rat ß actin gene, published in Nucl. Acids Res. 11:1759, 1983, by U. Nudel et al.

Figure 2A (first line), the 3rd position of codon 13 is a C and the 2nd position of codon 15 is a G. Thus, codon 15 specifies Gly and not Ala:

In the intron described in Fig. 2B, there is an additional G between the G and the C at positions 1176 and 1177, and an additional C between the C and the G at positions 1201 and 1202.
