Corrigendum

Nucleotide sequence of the maize transposable element Mul

R.F. Barker, D.V. Thompson, D.R. Talbot, J. Swanson and J.L. Bennetzen

Due to an inadvertant error, two nucleotides were unable to be corrected before final publication. Two adenine nucleotides at positions 1088 and 1094 are in fact guanine nucleotides. These changes, however, do not alter the codons at these locations; therefore, the amino acid compositions of the putative proteins remains unaltered. However, two extra recognition sites (CCTGG) are now found at positions 1085–1089 and 1091–1095 for the restriction endonuclease BstN I.
