Recombinant DNA data management at the restriction and functional site level

Received August 23, 1983. We have created a system to manage in a unified manner the restriction and functional site information required for design and analysis of recombi-nant DNA experiments. Primary source DNA data and recombinant clone specifications are used to generate recombinant restriction maps and restriction fragment lists. Sequence data, restriction-site data, and functional-site data may be combined in the data base. Interaction and output is user-friendly and versatile.
