In vitro transcription with extracts of nuclei of Drosophila embryos

Due to an inadvertant error, the sentence on page 2726, eighth line from the bottom: ‘After pyrophosphatase treatment, decapped transcripts now adsorbed no longer to the second dihydroxyboronyl-sqtharosc-column...’ should be replaced by: ‘After pyrophosphatase treatment, decapped transcripts should not adsorb to the second dihydroxyboronyl-sepharose-column. Now 80% of the material flowed through the column (Fig. 10, lanes 2 and 3), whereas not more than 50% of the material flowed through the column without pymphosphatase treatment.’
