Corrigendum

On page 1523 within the first paragraph the numbers 68 and 28 have to be interchanged and the paragraph should read as follows:

"Possible ambiguities in the DraII and DraIII recognition sequences (especially concerning the central N's in both recognition sequences) were resolved by detection of the 42 bp pBR322.DraII-fragment, the 28 bp {lambda} DraII-fragment as well as the 68 bp {lambda} DraIII-fragment after digestion of [32P] -labeled pBR322 or {lambda} DNA with DraII and DraIII and subsequent separation of the fragment mixtures on sequencing gels (data not shown)."

In addition in Table 2 the columns for {lambda} DNA, DraII and for {lambda} DNA, DraIII have to be interchanged. The corrected Table 2 should therefore appear as follows:
