BspKT61, a new site-specific endonuclease which cleaves the GATC site producing two nucleotide 5'-protruding ends
Nucleic Acids Research, 21, p. 5794 (1993)
The authors wish to state that a mirror inversion of Figure 1 at photofootprinting led to the report of an erroneous conclusion in this paper. The R and P columns in the figure were exchanged and it was incorrectly concluded that the restriction enzyme produces a DNA fragment with 5'-protruding ends. The enzyme actually gives DNA fragments with two nucleotide 3'-protruding ends.
