Interaction of polynucleotides with natural and model membranes
Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry, Siberian Division of Academy of Sciences Novosibirsk 90, USSR
Received April 22, 1980. Polynucleotides adsorb on natural and model phospholipid membranes in the presence of Mg2+-cations. Adsorption of nucleic acids on membranes results in a considerable change of their secondary structure. The presence of model phosphati-dylcholine membranes greatly stimulates the rate of the synthesis of BHA by E.coli BHA-polymerase on DNA template.
