I-ApeI, a novel intron-encoded LAGLIDADG homing endonuclease from the archaeon, Aeropyrum pernix K1

Norimichi Nomura, Yayoi Morinaga, Nobuaki Shirai and Yoshihiko Sako

The authors apologize for a naming error of the new enzyme. According to the recently proposed nomenclature [Roberts,R.J. et al. (2003) Nucleic Acids Res., 31, 1805–1812], the correct name should be I-ApeKI.
