Transcriptional regulation of human MAP2 gene in melanoma: role of neuronal bHLH factors and Notch1 signaling

Kumar M. R. Bhat, Nityanand Maddodi, Cooduvalli Shashikant and Vijayasaradhi Setaluri

Nucleic Acids Res. (2006) 34, 3819–3832

In this article, the nucleotide numbers and sizes of the MAP2 promoter–reporter constructs should read as follows throughout the text and figures:

  1. phMAP2-1 – 2966/+368        (3334 bp)
  2. phMAP2-2 – 1115/+368        (1483 bp)
  3. phMAP2-3 – 269/+368      (637 bp)
  4. phMAP2-4 – 269/+30      (299 bp)

There are no changes in position of E and N boxes and these changes in the nucleotide numbers in the MAP2 promoter–reporter constructs do not affect results and conclusions of our article. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by these errors.
