About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover: The crystal structure of the complex between the MS2 coat protein dimer (shown in green) and an RNA hairpin (shown as a space-filled model) at 2.85 Å resolution. The RNA hairpin has a substitution at position –5 where the wild-type uracil is replaced by a pyridin-4-one base and shows a different mode of binding than all previously determined MS2–RNA complexes. For further details see the paper by Grahn et al. in this issue: Nucleic Acids Res. (2000) 28, 4611-4616.
