About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover: When coralyne (molecular structure shown in yellow) is mixed with duplex poly(dA)·poly(dT) the poly(dA) (red) and poly(dT) (blue) strands repartition into coralyne-intercalated triplex poly(dA)·poly(dT)·poly(dT) and self-structured poly(dA). While coralyne has been shown to intercalate duplex DNA, this complete and irreversible disproportionation of duplex poly(dA)·poly(dT) is apparently driven by the more favorable intercalation of coralyne by the two resulting structures.
