About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover. A simplified scheme for folding of a Candida group I ribozyme to its catalytically active structure. Most secondary structures (cylinders, upper left) of the ribozyme are formed in Tris buffer. Upon addition of magnesium, the ribozyme RNA rapidly folds (ms-s) to a compact structure (upper right), which then undergoes a slower conformational searching (min) for native contacts to form the catalytically active structure (Native).
