About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover: The structure of the human telomeric G-quadruplex in solution differs from the structure observed in crystals. Fluor-escence, circular dichroism, sedimentation velocity and molecular dynamics simulations were used to probe the structure of the quadruplex in solution. The left panel (yellow fill) shows a gallery of experimental results along with schematics of alternative quadruplex structures that might exist in solution. The right panel (blue fill) shows the structure of a G-quartet. For further details, see the paper by Li et al. in this issue [Nucleic Acids Res. (2005) 33, 4649–4659].
