Cover: By using on-chip probe ligation and rolling circle amplification, both specificity and sensitivity of microarray-based analyses can be greatly enhanced using a dual-tag approach. Moreover, the opportunity for enumeration of individual amplification products serves to increase quantitative precision of molecular detection reactions. The dual-tag microarray approach is promising for analysis of both nucleic acids and proteins.
